Dear Parent/Guardian –
As we near the end of the 2020-21 school year, below are a few notices about student Chromebooks
1.) All students assigned a Chromebook are required to turn them to Life Source by May 28th, 2021. There will be staff outside the front of the school collecting Chromebooks from 7:45 am to 10 am.
2.) Along with turning in the Chromebook, students must also turn in the Power Adapter and Hot Spots (if issued) for their Chromebook.
3.) Both the Staff and the IT Department will be scanning the Chromebooks for damage and noting any issues.
4.) If a student’s Chromebook is damaged or if the power adapter was not included, the student’s parent/guardian will be responsible for reimbursing the district for the repair costs listed below
5.) If an enrolled student’s Chromebook is not returned, You will be invoiced to pay for a full replacement. This must be paid before the start of the next school year.
6.) Before May 28th, 2021, please look at your child’s Chromebook and note any damage for your reference.
Below is a list of the repair costs based on the type of damage:
- Hot Spots – $80.00
- Power Adapter – $30.00
- Full Replacement of Chromebook – $200.00
